Making Fake Whitebait Fritters

 This term for our novel study, Mrs A read us Whitebait Fritters which is a novel written by a Kiwi author Kingi McKinnon.  My favourite part in Whitebait Fritters was when the went fishing for whitebait because it tells you how to catch whitebait.

To wind up our learning we decided to make some fake whitebait fritters because we can’t afford to buy real whitebait. We used grated potato to take the place of whitebait and mixed it with eggs and onions. They were really tasty. Then we had to write out the recipe, put it on a Google Drawing and add some images. Onomatopoeia Firefighter

This week, we have been doing creative writing about our local superheros. I have made a google draw about a firefighter. I have also done 3 onomatopoeia about the type of noises they make.I found easy think of the noises they make. I found hard creating my fireman. The meaning behind this task was to help us get back into writing.Here is my work.

Whitebait Fritter Frontcover

This week, we have been working on our activities for our class book, Whitebait Fritters. I have done a front cover for the book. I found it easy creating my front cover. I found hard thinking of how to make it. The learning behind this task was to make a front cover for 2020 kids. Here is my work.

Comic Strip

This week we have been doing creative writing about our local superheros like firefighters, policemen, and many more. I have made a comic strip about firefighters saving the day. I found it hard making my comic. I found easy illustrating my comic. The meaning behind this task was to help us get back into writing.Here is my work.
