Mixed ability maths

This term we have had mixed ability groups for maths. I was not so happy about my group because we found it hard to work together to solve the problems.
How I feel about it: I have found it interesting when every one in my group does share their strategies.
What I have enjoyed: finding out other ways of solving the questions from the other groups.
What I found Difficult: helping my team agree with my answer.
Why I find this tricky: helping my group understand what I did and to make my group find their own way to share their work on how they solved the problems.
What can I do to change my negative thinking: help my team think more about the questions.
How can I do it: help my team do the question their way.

My maths understanding

This week, we have been learning about equal adjustments and place value partitioning. I have done three google draws using place value partitioning and equal adjustments. I liked doing the questions and using equal adjustments because I used them twice. I found hard remember all of the numbers. The learning of this task was to understand equal adjustments and place value partitioning. Here is my work.

The Living World Unit Study

This is my living world slideshow. For the next 5 or 6 weeks we will be choosing our own activities to
learn about the living world. We did a multiple intelligences test to see what kind of learner we are.

My top three ways of learning intelligences are;

1. Visual

2. Kinaesthetic

3.Naturalist

I am looking forward to doing the activities for my three intelligences.
