Poems from this week

This week for writing we have written a lot of poems. We learnt to write haiku and acrostic poems about Christmas and summer. Here is my haiku and acrostic I have done.

Vaseline Saucers

One day we made some Vaseline saucers, they had to be symmetrical. What I liked about my one was that it had a top of a flower in the middle of it. I used the colours that I liked. I think that I did well with putting my petals.

Christmas Poem

This morning we made a sketch of a Christmas tree as well as writing some words of what we think Christmas is to us. After we had finished our sketch as well as our words we grabbed our Chromebooks and made a poem about Christmas. After that we had to print out our poems and cut out our sketch and glue it onto our poem. Here is my one.

Art

This term I have done a piece of art by Kadinsky hope you like it.

My art was inspired by an artist named Kadinsky who used coloured circles in his work. We looked at the contrast between warm and cool colours and the black and white of the buildings.

One thing I did well was my colours for the background.

One thing I could improve on is going faster with my art.
