Garden to Table

This year we have been doing garden to table. Garden to table is when two groups go out to be in kitchen and garden. If you are in kitchen, you have to make a meal for the gardeners. If you are in the garden, you have to plant and weed and water the plants in the garden. Here is me at garden to table.

Basic Facts Term 2

We have been working on answering basic facts questions quickly and instantly.

Handwriting Term 2

We have been doing our handwriting samples we are trying to form our letters right and put our letters on the line. Here is my work.

Fractions

This week with Miss Toia, we have been learning how to do large fractions. here is my work

Golf

We have been learning how to play golf. Mr Golf came in to our school and taught us how to make t
he ball go up in the air instead of going across the ground.

I liked learning golf.

I am good at whacking the ball at the target.

I need to work on launching the ball.

Animal Town Writing

This week we have used another picture as motivation for our writing. We had a story starter and then
we had to carry on the story.

What I like about my writing is using my imagination.

I need to improve on remembering to use adjectives.

Here is my writing about Animal Town.

Bang! Bang! I wake up in a fish tank in my motel apartment. I get up and get me a Nutrient block
and a glass of water. I get ready for the grade opening for this town. I  am really not going to be
excited. Knock knock! There is some one at the door when I open. Bang! A camera flashes so I
get ready to go to fish mart, where all the fish go to go shopping  for food and clothes, so I get my
shirt on and jump in my car.

Errrr! I hit the brakes so I need to be quick before the grade opening. I quickly race to the door
grabbing whats on my shopping list. Shivering shudders! I only have 15 minutes left! I quickly
race to the self fish out and scan my items and swim as fast as a shark. I quickly unpack all of
my shopping bags. I get some better clothes on and jump in my seamoth car to race to the front
of the town. The sheriff is there, ready for his speech.

I quickly get in my spot with the sheriff. I feel as slow as a sloth then I just freeze. I hope
this is over soon.

Hot Air Balloon adventure

This week we have used a picture as motivation for our writing. We had a story starter and then we had to carry on the story. What I like about my writing is making the story up. I need to improve on making right I's. We also made a google draw showing the things that we would take with us in our hot air balloon
