If I made a car

Last week we read a book called if I built a car. We had to write a story about if we made a car. Here is the writing about what I would do if I built a car and a picture that I made for it.

Asb Getwise

On Wednesday we had Marlon from ASB Get wise talking to us about saving our money, spending money on needs not wants and using invisible money ie eftpos. I have made a google draw to show what I have learnt.d

Pou Art

As part of our writing programme we have been doing environmental writing. We had to sketch an object and as we were sketching we wrote down thoughts that we had. Then we wrote our thoughts down  as a poem. We cut out the sketch and added this to our writing.

Butterfly Writing

Weeks ago we started a little thing called Makerspace. We first did activities about butterflies. I have written a little story about this science thing we did about butterflies. Here it is.

First we filled a balloon with baking soda and poured vinegar in the bottle. We did everything right. Next we had to tip the balloon upside down. We took it outside. We tipped the baking soda into the bottle with vinegar. Poof! The balloon started blowing up.
I liked doing this experiment and my favourite part about it was the balloon flying in the air.
